Nicolae Miu sentencing date set

HUDSON, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – The man found guilty of killing a teenager and injuring 4 others in a stabbing on the Apple River will be sentenced later this Summer. An official sentencing date for Nicolae Miu is set for the morning of July 31st.  Last week, a St. Croix County jury found Miu guilty of first-degree reckless homicide in the stabbing death of Isaac Schuman in July of 2022. Miu was also found guilty on four counts of 1st-degree recklessly endangering safety for stabbing and injuring four others. Karl Anderson, the St. Croix County District Attorney says Miu could face up to 97 years in prison for all of his charges.
