NFD extinguishes apartment fire near Nashville International Airport

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Firefighters extinguished a large fire at an apartment complex near Nashville International Airport Monday afternoon.

The Nashville Fire Department said crews were sent to the 800 block of Glastonbury Road at around 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 22 for reports of an apartment fire. When crews arrived, they found heavy smoke and flames showing from the apartment.

Firefighters quickly got the blaze under control and put it out. No injuries were reported, according to officials.

The Red Cross was called to assist residents who have been displaced.
