NCAA Baseball Tournament seeding: Which teams will host regionals, supers before College World Series?
The College World Series is nearly here, with the first 16 seeds of the NCAA Baseball Tournament being announced on Sunday night.
The 16 teams named on Sunday will each host a four-team regional at their home field, with the top eight (or highest remaining) seeds also clinching home-field advantage for the super regionals should they advance.

The SEC ended up with several teams inside of the top 16, including Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Georgia and Texas A&M. While the SEC had a loaded conference this season, there were numerous upsets in the SEC Baseball Tournament, with South Carolina, Vanderbilt and LSU making the semifinals alongside Tennessee, which defeated LSU in the finals on Sunday.

Who is the No. 1 overall seed of the 2024 Baseball Tournament?

Sunday's reveal did not reveal national seeds in order — only which teams would host the regional round of the tournament. The full bracket will be officially unveiled at noon ET on Monday.
However, Tennessee — which won the SEC Tournament on Sunday with a 4-3 victory over 11 seed LSU — is widely projected to score the top overall seed of the NCAA baseball tournament.
