NC bunny in ‘Final Fur’ for 2024 Cadbury mascot; Here’s how you can vote for him

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCN/WNCT) — A North Carolina bunny is officially in the “Final Fur” after making it through several rounds of competition to be the next Cadbury bunny.

Sheldon, an adopted rabbit from Jacksonville, was one of 32 animals part of the “Round of Thirty-Cute” for the 2024 Cadbury Bunny Tryouts.

Sophie Peterson, Sheldon’s owner, said he was adopted from Onslow County Animal Shelter in July of 2023.

Since the first round started March 11, Sheldon has excelled in the “Round of Thirty-Cute,” “Creme 16” and “Eggcellent 8.”

He now faces cat Loki from Hampton Bays, New York in the “Final Fur.”

You can vote for Sheldon in the “Final Fur” by visiting @cadburyusa on Instagram and click on their Instagram stories.

Voting is open from 12 p.m. Wednesday to 12 p.m. Thursday, so hop on over and give him your vote.

The other two contestants in the “Final Fur” are cat Gravy from Johnson City, Tennessee and raccoon Louie from Miami, Florida.

Whoever comes out on top in each bracket will face each other in the Championship Match on Friday.
