Navy Pier keeps its title as ‘Best Place’ for fireworks: Here’s how you can see them
CHICAGO — A Chicago attraction has been named the ‘Best Place to See Fireworks’ for the second consecutive year.
USA Today’s 2024 10Best Readers’ Choice Travel Awards ranked the top 10 destinations where locals and tourists can see fireworks this summer and Chicago’s Navy Pier was crowned the winner. Described as “one of Chicago’s secret pleasures,” a panel of travel experts praised Navy Pier for its display show, which can be seen from “charter boats on Lake Michigan, hotel rooftops, Maggie Daley Park, or along Chicago’s Lakefront Trail.”
The honor comes days before summer fireworks at Navy Pier returns for Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Firework shows occur every Wednesday at 9 p.m. and Saturday at 10 p.m.
