Natalia Jiménez, on the cover of HOLA! USA: ‘My daughter is the biggest achievement of my life’
Spanish singer and composer Natalia Jiménez is living her happiest days. A little over a year after marrying her manager Daniel Trueba, and six months after becoming a mom, the Madrid-born star confesses to living emotions she “never imagined.” In an exclusive interview that appears on the cover of the April issue of HOLA! USA, Natalia posed with daughter Alessandra, whom she calls “the biggest achievement” of her life.
“It’s just that I never thought I’d be a mom!” said the ex singer of La Quinta Estación, laughing with joy. “Maybe because many in my family like my uncles and my older brother never had children... But last year I told myself ‘You are going to turn 35. If you want kids, it has to be now!’.”
Ever the modern mom, Natalia confesses to do “everything” with Alessandra. “I take her everywhere. I don’t have a nanny. I’m doing it all by myself. It’s just that I don’t know if she’s going to be my only child and I don’t want to miss out on this experience to go do my nails, or anything silly like that. I’m even thinking of taking her with me on tour, at least until she is in school.”
But Natalia opened up about more than motherhood: she talked to HOLA! USA about her love story with Daniel and why they decided to say “I do” after being together for 8 years. “We’ve wanted to do it for a long time, but we were focused on our careers, the tours. One day we said ‘Listen, enough... what’s happening?’.”
