Narcan can save a life in the event of an overdose. Where you can get it around Norwich

In the event of an overdose, the administration of Narcan (Naloxone) can be the difference between life and death.

The National Institute on Drug Abuse states that Narcan can quickly restore normal breathing to a person if their breathing has slowed or stopped because of an opioid overdose. Per the National Institute on Drug Abuse, examples of opioids include heroin, fentanyl, oxycodone, hydrocodone, codeine and morphine.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention states there are two forms of Narcan that anyone can use without medical training or authorization: prefilled nasal spray and injectable.
