Myrtle Beach police investigate aggravated assault

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Myrtle Beach police are investigating an aggravated assault on Poplar Drive, the department said Friday on Facebook.

Officers responded at about 3:05 p.m. to the 1000 block of Poplar Drive. Last week, five people were arrested after police conducted a search warrant due to numerous “quality of life” concerns at a home on the same block. That home faces 24 violations, according to documents obtained by News13.

No additional information about Friday’s assault was immediately available.
