Musical Goddesses Kelly Clarkson & Pink Join Forces for 2017 American Music Awards
The 45th Annual American Music Awards just made Kelly Clarkson’s dream of collaborating with Pink come true.
For the first time ever, the musical goddesses will team up to open the 2017 American Music Awards on Sunday, November 19. In addition to their joint performance, Clarkson and Pink will also perform solo tracks from their newest albums, Meaning of Life and Beautiful Trauma, respectively.
Earlier this month, Clarkson revealed she’s always wanted to work with the “What About Us” singer. She said, “I’m a huge fan of Pink. I haven’t had the chance yet to work with her. I think if you project it enough, it might happen, right?”
Ask and you shall receive. The American Music Awards airs on November 19 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
