Muscogee Co. Sheriff’s Office: Murder suspect arrested on several charges
COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Multiple law enforcement agencies arrested a wanted fugitive on Tuesday.
Amarion Boone was wanted by the Columbus Police Department in connection to a homicide from March, according to the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO). He was taken into custody by the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit, the United States Marshal’s Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Boone was wanted on these counts:
Murder
Six counts of aggravated assault
Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime
According to MCSO, Boone is a validated gang member.
