Multipurpose facility coming to Wyoming County Career and Technical Center

PINEVILLE (WVNS) – The Wyoming County Career and Technical Center is getting a big addition.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Tuesday, May 21st for a new multipurpose facility at the WCCTC. This new building will be used for awards, honors ceremonies, and trainings.

More than $14 million announced for projects in West Virginia

Stacey Lusk, Principal of the Wyoming County Career and Technical Center and Student Representative Steven Clemins said this facility will be beneficial for everyone.

“In my leadership, I am very much about student success. I am very much contributing to celebrating the students and my instructors in what they do. I think this will highlight that more than what we have already done,” said Lusk.

“I hope this gives them more opportunities. Which we have plenty of them here already. More events, bring more attraction to the trade school, and just give more opportunities to bring people in to see how they can work,” said Clemins to 59News.
