Multiple vehicles and home damaged in Colorado Springs shooting

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is investigating a shooting over the weekend after three suspects apparently fired multiple rounds hitting several vehicles and a home in the area.

The incident happened on Saturday night, April 13 just after 9:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Sequoia Drive, east of Memorial Park and near the intersection of Airport Road and South Circle Drive.

According to police, during the investigation officers learned that three unidentified men allegedly walked up behind a victim’s vehicle and fired over 40 rounds. Police said that no injuries were reported and the shooting “does not appear to be a random act of violence.”

The investigation is ongoing.
