Here’s how much rain fell in Southern California this holiday weekend

A lot of outdoor plans were washed out this Easter holiday weekend, and we now know just how much rain fell across Southern California.

The National Weather Service released its preliminary data for rainfall from this past storm, with much of the region receiving between one and three inches of rain.

With the weekend storm out of the way, residents should see some sunshine and warmer weather to start the week but clouds are likely to return this Thursday.

Late-week storm promises to bring more rain to SoCal

“By Thursday evening there is rain back in the forecast and it looks like Friday is very active with rain and mountain snow,” KTLA Meteorologist Henry DiCarlo said.

The Weather Service is also calling for a chance of thunderstorm activity on Friday.
