LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Ready to clear out your medicine cabinet this spring? Don’t throw away those old pills away or flush them–Michigan State Police will take them off your hands.

All 31 MSP posts will be accepting expired, unused and unwanted pills next Saturday, April 27. They will take care of having the pills destroyed.

The one-day “Take-Back” effort is in observance of Drug Enforcement Association’s “Drug Take Back Day” on April 27.
