MSCS superintendent announces transition team

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The new Memphis-Shelby County Schools superintendent, Dr. Marie N. Feagins, announced her full transition team Thursday, which consists of more than 60 people.

According to MSCS, the advisors will help Dr. Feagins craft and execute the District’s strategic plan.

The group of local, state and national advisors will offer their expertise in five areas: student achievement, business operations, strategic communications and partnerships, next-level readiness, and inclusive excellence.

“It is important for me to hit the ground running and see results fast where possible,” said Dr. Feagins.
