MPD searches for man accused of North Memphis shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is wanted by Memphis Police after allegedly shooting and injuring a man in North Memphis on Sunday.

Just before 10 a.m., officers say they responded to Hubbard Avenue regarding an aggravated assault. A male victim was found injured by gunfire when officers arrived at the scene.

The victim stated that he was in a verbal altercation with a man over the MocoSpace app. That is when the man reportedly fired shots at the victim while driving in a red Corvette.

The suspect then drove off going west on Hubbard Avenue, police say.

MPD says the suspect’s street name is “Macaroni” and their profile name is “Big Dude Camp”.

No arrests have been made, but this is still an ongoing investigation.
