Motorcyclist killed after driver runs red light in Hillsborough County: FHP
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A motorcyclist was killed on Thursday afternoon after a driver ran a red light in Hillsborough County.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a 28-year-old Brandon man driving a Hyundai Sonata was driving eastbound on SR-60 at around 1:39 p.m., while a 42-year-old Dover man on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling westbound.

FHP said the motorcyclist approached the intersection of Dover Road, turning left under a green traffic light.
The Hyundai driver did not stop for the red light at that intersection and struck the biker.
The motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries.
