Update: Coroner names motorcyclist who died after crashing near North Myrtle Beach, SC
A motorcycle driver died in the hospital after a crash along S.C. 31 where he drove off the road, according to Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Tristan Davis, 21, of Kansas, died from multiple traumatic injuries he received in the collision, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office.
Davis was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle north along S.C. 31 near S.C. 9 when he ran off the road and hit a concrete barrier about 4 p.m. April 28. Davis was sent to Grand Strand Medical Center where he died about two hours later.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
