Most expensive homes sold in Santa Rosa County last month include record-setting property

Santa Rosa County saw multiple seven-figure home sales during the month of April, including the most expensive beach home ever sold across both Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

The sale of these homes generated a sum of about $10 million, while the most expensive home on this list sold for more than $5 million alone.

The highest-selling home is located in Navarre Beach, while the subsequent homes were built in Gulf Breeze and Pace. The Pace residence is the only one on this list that isn’t a waterfront home.

Two of these homes were listed by Levin Rinke Realty, while the third was listed by Darlene Hammond and her team with Re/MAX America's Top Realty.

Here’s what’s special about Santa Rosa County’s highest-selling homes during April.

3. 7337 Hidden Forest Trail, $2.5 million

This “French Country Estate” sold for $2.5 million on April 24 and was the third-most-expensive home sold in Santa Rosa County last month.

Construction on the two-story home finished in 2015 with a custom-built European design utilizing reclaimed brick and wood.

This home sits on approximately 23 acres of land in Pace and also has separate quarters for guests, a workshop and a barn on its property. The main home has approximately 5,620 square feet of space with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, while its detached guest quarters are about 1,408 square feet.

The home’s interior has an open floor plan with hardwood floors and clay-finished walls throughout its main living area. Its kitchen and dining area feature reclaimed wooden beams that are from an old cotton gin in Mississippi.

This home has multiple entertainment spaces for its residents and their guests, such as its game room, saltwater pool with a nearby fire pit and covered outdoor dining area.

The runner-up for last month’s most expensive home sold in Santa Rosa County is this three-bedroom, four-bathroom waterfront property in Gulf Breeze that sold for $2.8 million on April 16.

It was built in 2021 on 1 acre of land and has two stories, both of which were designed to take advantage of the home’s view of the Pensacola Bay and surrounding areas.

This home features a new pool, new seawalls and a covered dock with lifts for one boat and two jet skis.

There are also two garages; one garage is a detached space that can fit three cars while the other is attached to the home and has a walk-up attic. A den on the back of the home can be used as a fourth bedroom for residents or guests as well.

Its great room is two stories with large windows that provide a look at both the bay and the pool. There’s also a hot tub and a paver area for a fire pit in the home’s exterior.

The home in Navarre Beach became the most expensive beach home sold in the history of Escambia and Santa Rosa counties with a sale tag of $5,335,000, which is significantly higher than the previous recordholders for the highest sales in Pensacola Beach and Perdido Key by $335,000 and $235,000 respectively, according to data from Pensacola MLS, a Multiple Listing Service that covers residential and commercial properties in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

The residence is approximately 5,456 square feet with two 60-foot balconies, a private boardwalk that provides access onto the beach and an elevated 12-foot-by-20-foot swimming pool built into the home’s deck on the second floor.

This home was built on Gulf Boulevard and features three levels to explore, the lowest of which holds the garage and electric vehicle charger, that each provide a view of the beach.

Bock Construction Inc. finished building the home in 2023 with enough room to accommodate up to 34 guests at a time.

The home sold on April 17 after being listed by Jon Worley with Levin Rinke Realty.
