More afternoon rain, snow and storms around New Mexico
After a strong storm system impacted the state yesterday, more active weather is on the way today. This morning is a lot calmer than yesterday morning with just a few snow flurries across the highest elevations of the Gila and Northern Mountains. The Gila will see the most action this morning, before widespread low elevation rain showers/storms and high elevation snow develops early this afternoon. More hail, graupel, and lightning is likely this afternoon before drier air arrives overnight.
