Monarch Fire Protection District seeks feedback to address growing demand

CHESTERFIELD, Mo. – The Monarch Fire Protection District in Chesterfield says right now, it only has four ambulances at five fire stations, serving more than 80,000 people.

Projections show a 25 percent increase in calls in the next 10 years. Because of that, the district wants to hear from the community.

The district is asking people to complete an online survey and attend a community workshop. There’s one scheduled Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Riverbed Elementary School. There’s another Tuesday at the same time at Chesterfield Mall.
