Mobile Police seek 2 people after they allegedly robbed, assaulted man

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Two men are accused of assaulting and robbing an older man Thursday, according to the Mobile Police Department.

Officers were called to the 1800 block of Dr. MLK, Jr. Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Thursday for a robbery report, according to an MPD release.

ROBBERY LOCATION:

The release said officers arrived and found that an elderly man had been injured during a struggle with two people who assaulted him while he was outside working.

The two people also allegedly demanded money from the man before leaving the area on foot.

Police said this is an ongoing investigation.
