Mobile police investigating armed robbery at Circle K

UPDATE: WKRG NEWS 5 reached out to the Mobile Police Department for more information regarding the robbery investigation.

MPD officials issued the following statement in response to a request for information.

“At this time the information we sent is all that is available as this is an ongoing, active investigation.”

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Mobile Police Department is investigating after a man reportedly robbed a Circle K with a gun.

1 person shot, condition unknown at Gulf Place

MPD officers responded to the Circle K, located at 1395 N. University Blvd., around 3:33 a.m. on Thursday, March 28, in reference to a robbery.

ROBBERY LOCATION:

Upon arrival, officers discovered that a male suspect pulled a gun during the robbery before leaving the area.
