Mobile man accused of shooting man while he was sitting in a car: Police

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A local man is accused of shooting another man, News 5 has learned.

Mobile police officers responded to a local hospital around 5:30 p.m. Thursday after learning about a man showing up there with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Officers were able to find out that the shooting happened earlier that day in the area of North Noble Drive and West Noble Drive, according to a Mobile Police Department news release.

The release also said the man was in his car when he was hit by gunfire.

26-year-old Sean Levon Nelson, Jr. was arrested in connection with this incident.

He was charged with first-degree assault and two counts of shooting into an occupied vehicle.
