Missouri sex offender who filmed Boy Scouts to be sentenced

FARMINGTON, Mo. — Today in St. Francois County, a sex offender who secretly filmed Boy Scouts with hidden cameras is set to be sentenced.

David Nelson pleaded guilty to federal child pornography charges after admitting he placed pinhole cameras in restrooms at the “S Bar F” Ranch near Farmington, a location that hosts thousands of Scouts annually.

Authorities have photo evidence of Nelson installing the devices. He is expected to spend at least 15 years in prison.
