Missouri cloud forecast for the 2024 eclipse

ST. LOUIS — Storms are gone, skies have cleared out overnight and we’ll start the day in the 40s and low 50s. Clouds will be building back in through the day, so expect some high clouds over the region during the eclipse. Highs will be in the 70s. Peak eclipse time is right around 2pm. Remember, you need to be south of Bunker, Park Hills, Bloomsdale (MO), Red Bud, Okawvillle, and Salem (IL) to be in the path of totality.

Clouds will thicken up through Monday evening and we’ll watch for scattered showers and storms towards daybreak Tuesday. We’ll wake up in the 50s. The chance for scattered showers and storms will continue Tuesday afternoon, night, and Wednesday morning before wet weather becomes more widespread on Wednesday afternoon and night. Rain chances linger Thursday before we dry out for Friday and the weekend.
