Missing woman last seen in San Jose

(KRON) — Law enforcement agencies are searching for a woman who was last seen in San Jose on Friday.

Margaret Ramani, 80, was last seen walking northbound on Ruby Avenue towards Fowler Road at about 12:30 p.m. The San Jose Police Department said she had not taken her medication.

Ramani is described as an Asian woman who stands about 5-foot-4, 140 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a tan sun hat, a dark-colored jacket, dark blue jeans and white gloves.

A Silver Alert was issued by California Highway Patrol. Anyone who sees Ramani is asked to call 911.
