Missing man last seen Feb. 27 in Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A 32-year-old man who hasn’t been seen since February 27 has been reported missing in Portsmouth.

Police say they’re looking for Hector Enrique Olmeda Jr., who was last seen on Wilcox Avenue near Norfolk Naval Shipyard.

He’s about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 140 pounds, and has a history of mental illness, police say.

“We urge those with information on their whereabouts to contact the Portsmouth Police Special Victims Unit at 757–393–8536. Those who wish to remain anonymous can contact the Crime Line at 1–888-LOCK-U-UP.”
