Update: Missing 9-year-old child last seen in West Boise found safe, police say
Update: Simon was found safe, according to an 8:47 p.m. post from the Boise Police Department.
Police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing child who was last seen leaving his West Boise home.
The Boise Police Department posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that Simon, 9, was seen by his home at around 3 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Ustick and Cloverdale roads.
The post said Simon, who is considered “missing” and endangered,” is about 4 feet, 2 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a black Vans sweatshirt, camouflage pants and black shoes, the post said.
