MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police say two people were shot and wounded near 29th and Walnut on Sunday afternoon, April 21.

Officials say around 3 p.m., a 38-year-old was shot and taken to a hospital for treatment. Separately, a 36-year-old arrived at a hospital for treatment of a gunshot injury.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. However, it appears the 38-year-old and the 36-year-old exchanged gunfire. Both were taken into custody.

Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.

95th and Silver Spring

Also Sunday, a 19-year-old was shot and wounded near 95th and Silver Spring around 4:30 p.m. Police are seeking an unknown shooter.
