Milwaukee Police are investigating second bomb threat at a Milwaukee school

Milwaukee Police are investigating another bomb threat made against a Milwaukee school Tuesday morning.

In an email to a reporter, Milwaukee Police said they are investigating a bomb threat that a suspect made against a school at 5:42 a.m. in the 2300 block of North 52nd Street. The school was searched, but police did not find anything. They are continuing to seek an unknown suspect, the police said.

Milwaukee Public Schools' director of communications and marketing Nicole Armendariz confirmed the school involved was Milwaukee French Immersion School. She also said the threat was made before school, and the school day continued as normal.

The incident came just four days after a bomb threat was made April 5 at Milwaukee French Immersion School, as well as Groppi High School and Hi-Mount Community School. School was closed all day at all three schools; they reopened Monday. Milwaukee police said they continue to seek an unknown suspect from that incident, as well.
