BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – LSU baseball is not off to a hot start in conference play. They are 2-7 against SEC teams so far this season.
How can LSU head coach Jay Johnson settle down the team? It’s actually the opposite of “shaking things up,” according to former LSU national champion and Major League Baseball outfielder, Mikie Mahtook.
Mahtook said LSU baseball needs one major change to their overall philosophy of filling out the lineup card to flip their fortune at the plate.
The Tigers welcome sixth-ranked Vanderbilt to Alex Box Stadium this weekend.
