Women capture Texas twister on video. ‘We’re right in the middle of the tornado, Brenda’
A harrowing three-and-a-half minute video uploaded to Facebook late Saturday night documents two women’s close encounter with a violent vortex in Valley View, just north of Denton County.
A deadly tornado tore through Valley View and surrounding towns May 25, leveling buildings, flipping vehicles, and injuring dozens. At least two children were among the five people reported to have died during the storms, though county officials expect the death toll to climb.
