We don’t have to remind you that the first lady is the epitome of #stylegoals, but after seeing Michelle Obama in this rose gold chainmail Versace gown on Tuesday evening at her final state dinner as FLOTUS, we couldn’t let another moment pass without highlighting this stellar example of superior slayage. She and President Obama were on hand to host Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and his wife, Agnese Landini. While the president looked extraordinarily dapper in his tux, the world couldn’t take its eyes off Michelle’s dazzling ensemble.

The first lady’s stunning look was a floor-length, chainmail gown with a draped bodice, ruched waist and a slit. She paired the custom-made Atelier Versace dress with jewelry by Le Vian.

Um, don’t quote us on this, but we’re pretty sure this level of flawlessness is illegal because DAYUM:

Seriously, our minds just spat out a series of blerps and beeps because we cannot compute how she manages to slay SO HARD:

OK, First Lady: Now you’re getting out of hand. President Obama is clearly playing it cool, but our hearts can’t handle anymore. Unfortunately, we can’t stop looking because we haven’t seen the back of the dress yet. Let’s start with this closeup:

Fashionista reports that Donatella Versace created the look specifically for the evening’s festivities, saying, “I am humbled and honored to have the opportunity to dress the First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama. Thank you Michelle for all of the things you have done for America and for the rest of the world, for the women in the United States and the rest of the world.”

Indeed, Donatella. We can’t forget about all of the first lady’s wonderful contributions to society, but she will definitely go down in history as the most flawless FLOTUS of all time.
