From Harper's BAZAAR

Last night during his powerful farewell address, President Obama took a moment to thank First Lady Michelle Obama for supporting him during his two terms and beyond. The tribute was so emotional, POTUS had to take a moment to pause and wipe his tears. He called out to FLOTUS:

"Michelle LaVaughn Robinson, girl on the south side, for the past 25 years you have not only been my wife and the mother of my children, you have been my best friend. You took on a role you didn't ask for and made it your own with grace and grit and style and good humor. You made the White House a place that belongs to everybody. And a new generation sets its sights higher because it has you as a role model. You've made me proud. You've made the country proud."

As the crowd gave her a standing ovation, Michelle Obama's eyes were on her husband. She was all smiles and even mouthed "I love you" to him from the audience.

After the farewell address, FLOTUS gave the president a short and sweet congratulations on Twitter. "So proud of @POTUS and all that we've accomplished together. An incredible journey filled with remarkable people. I love you Barack. -mo," she posted, along with a throwback family photo of them with Sasha and Malia.

We miss them already.
