New Mexico sees two more days of rain showers
Tuesday morning is mostly quiet and cool across New Mexico. Light rain and snow showers are moving through western NM and the I-40 corridor between Grants and Holbrook, AZ. The Continental Divide is snowy, and the roads are snow covered and slick.

Showers will end throughout the morning, and skies will be drier through early afternoon. More rain and high mountain snow showers will develop in western, northern and central NM this afternoon and evening. The Metro will see the chance for rain, especially during the late-afternoon and evening. Snow will be light, less than 2″ in the high terrain. Rain will be light as well. Temperatures will warm up from Monday, staying cooler than normal, and the winds will stay light.
More rain is expected in central and northern NM on Wednesday, but the storm will move out of NM on Thursday, which will allow skies to clear and dry out through Friday. Temperatures will climb through the end of the week, with the help of sunshine and westerly winds.
