Apparently Melania Trump and her husband actually have private conversations
According to a White House official, Melania Trump really has been working to “positively impact children.”
According to CNN’s Kate Bennett, the first lady is trying to influence President Donald Trump’s policy decisions in private.

On Monday, through her communications director Stephanie Grisham, Melania previously stated that she “hates to see children separated from their families and hopes both sides of the aisle can finally come together to achieve successful immigration reform.”
However, many have plead with Melania (as well as her daughter-in-law Ivanka Trump) over the past few days to do more.

On Wednesday, news also broke that President Trump is preparing to sign an executive order to indefinitely detain parents and children together. “We’ve got to be keeping families together,” he said, which might be a partial result of Melania’s convincing.
