The former press secretary during the Trump administration sat down with CNN's Erin Burnett for a chat. During the conversation, she revealed that Melania is closely following her husband's hush money trial and is not happy with the new revelations that have come to light.

"The fact that [Trump] asked about her in the White House, the fact that some… White House staff got on the phone with David Pecker to talk about keeping this secret even further. Those were new details to me, and so I know they were new details to [Melania], and I'm sure she's not happy about it," Grisham shared, per The Hill.

"Now, make no mistake, she's not sitting at home, you know, crying over this, but you know, like any…married woman or woman in a relationship, it's not fun to hear these details," Grisham added.

It comes after former magazine executive David Pecker shared new details with jurors about former adult film star Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal, who both alleged that they had an affair with Trump.

Pecker discussed his role in killing stories about McDougal and Trump, noting that the billionaire politician was worried that they would make their way back to his wife.

He also reportedly notified Trump about Daniels' intentions to sell a story about a sexual encounter with the billionaire.

Pecker has since made several other revelations in court, including churning out negative stories about Trump's political opponents at the time, including Hillary Clinton, and Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, being "under pressure" to "bury" stories that could mar his campaign.

Trump is presently on trial for allegedly falsifying company records to cover up a payment to Daniels in a bid to buy her silence over an alleged affair.

In court yesterday, the former president decried how his trial had prevented him from spending time with his wife on her birthday.

An opportunity to celebrate her publicly would later present itself when Trump addressed reporters outside the court, also stating that the case was a "rigged trial."

"I want to start by wishing my wife Melania a very happy birthday," Trump told reporters. "It would be very nice to be with her, but I'm in a courthouse for a rigged trial."

Trump's message to Melania was criticized online for being "awkward" due to the circumstances surrounding why he couldn't be with her full-time on her birthday.

Recently, Melania sparked curiosity and anticipation in the hearts of many Republicans after organizing a fundraiser for the Log Cabin Republicans at her Mar-a-Lago home.

At the time, many fans had speculated that she was set to join him on the campaign trail, but a source has now played down those chances, disclosing that the mother of one is seemingly uncomfortable with campaigning.

"It's just not her comfort space," a source close to Melania told The Hill. "And I think it's a real loss, because first ladies are typically helpful on the campaign trail with women, with undecideds, and she has a very compelling story and she's good at telling it."

The source then said, "I respect her for not doing something she doesn't want to do, but you have to look at it as a detriment to her husband's campaign."

Another insider shared, "The campaign doesn't ask her to be out there because they know she dislikes it. … She's a very private person."

Melania recently attended billionaire John Paulson's fundraiser for the presumptive Republican party nominee, Trump, where they raised over $50 million. Sources at the event told Page Six that the Slovenian-born former model played a major role in the event.

"Melania Trump emerged as the main star at the Republican fundraiser at John Paulson's $100 million house in Palm Beach," a source told the news outlet.

They continued, "The former first lady, who usually appears quite serious in photographs, seemed to never stop smiling Saturday night and was charming and talkative to all the guests . . . She's ready to be first lady again and clearly enjoyed the evening."

"Melania enjoys being a hostess . . . She's very supportive of her husband's campaign and as we get closer to the final months, you can expect to see her more at key events," the GOP tipster added.
