Maxwell brings his ‘The Serenade Tour’ to Oakland

(KRON) – Maxwell announced his “The Serenade Tour” with an Oakland performance.

“The Serenade Tour” will hit 26 cities and stop at the Oakland Arena on Oct. 25.

Three-time Grammy winner and R&B legend Maxwell will perform the classics from his five studio albums.

Bryson Tiller announces San Francisco show for his self-titled tour

The tour has two other California shows:

  • Oct. 23 – Viejas Arena in San Diego

  • Oct. 27 – Kia Forum in Los Angeles

The tour’s special guests are Grammy-award winner Jazmine Sullivan and R&B singer October London. This tour marks Sullivan and Maxwell’s second tour. Sullivan joined Maxwell on his “The Maxwell 08 Tour” over 15 years ago.

Sullivan’s platinum single “Pick Up Your Feelings” won a Grammy for Best R&B Song and an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Soul/R&B Song.
