Massachusetts gas prices rose from last week: See how much here

Gasoline prices rose for the second consecutive week in Massachusetts and reached an average of $3.29 a gallon Monday, up from last week's $3.22, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

The average gasoline price in state has risen about 15 cents since last month. Gas prices across the state in the last year have been as low as $3.07 on Jan. 29, 2024, and as high as $3.76 on Aug. 7, 2023, according to the agency.

A year ago, the average gas price in Massachusetts was 3% lower at $3.19 a gallon.

The average gas price in the United States last week was $3.52, making prices in Massachusetts about 6.6% lower than the nation's average. Last week's national average was $3.45 a gallon.
