9:55 p.m.

The Associated Press reports Prince George's County Executive Angela Alsobrooks has won the Democratic primary for the U.S. Senate, defeating Rep. David Trone, and setting up a battle to retain the party’s majority in the Senate in November’s general election.

8:38 p.m.

AP reports former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan has won the Republican nomination for Maryland’s U.S. Senate seat.

8:27 p.m.

The Associated Press has called the Maryland Republican presidential primary for former President Donald Trump and the Democratic presidential primary for President Joe Biden.

Both Trump and Biden will remain presumptive nominees until this summer’s national party conventions, where their nominations will become official.

Maryland Capitol Police have given the all-clear after a bomb threat was made and the Maryland State House was evacuated.

At 3:45 p.m., the Annapolis Police Department received a phone call from an individual making a bomb threat to the Maryland State House. Maryland Capitol Police and Annapolis Police searched the inside and outside of the building and found no credible threat.

3:59 p.m.

A Maryland General Assembly alert was issued Tuesday afternoon, urging anyone inside the Maryland State House to evacuate the area and head home due to a bomb threat.

Congressman David Trone has cast his ballot in Maryland’s primary election. FOX 5’s Stephanie Ramirez caught up with him and spoke with him about the race and the issues at the top of his agenda.
