Mark Burns preliminary hearing scheduled

DELTA, Colo. (KREX) — A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Mark Burns, 65, the man accused of shooting and killing Michael Arnold and Donna Gallegos of Paonia back in 2022.

Burns appeared in a Delta County Court on Friday, March 22.

Burns was arrested on Feb. 16, 2022 after officers executed a search warrant at his home in Salmon, Idaho. He was then extradited and booked into the Delta County Jail.

His next hearing is scheduled for April. WesternSlopeNow will be there to bring you the latest.
