Man wanted for questioning in reference to theft at Augusta Mall

RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man wanted for questioning in reference to a theft at the Augusta Mall.

According to authorities, the incident happened inside the Verizon Store inside the Augusta Mall on Sunday, March 3rd.

According to the incident report, the Augusta Mall General Manager stated an unknown person entered the store around 12:50 P.M. and gave a false name belonging to a real customer, and the General Manager states that the unknown person upgraded a cell phone on the real customer’s account and left the store with an Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max 256GB Black Titanium at the retail value of $1210.
