Man wanted for punching woman in the head in Manhattan: NYPD

CHELSEA, Manhattan (PIX11) – Police are searching for a man accused of punching a woman in the head in Manhattan on Tuesday, according to the NYPD.

It happened on Avenue of the Americas in Chelsea around 12:45 p.m., police said. The suspect ran from the scene, according to authorities.

Police describe the man as being around 35 years old and 5’10” inches tall. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, light jeans and white and orange sneakers.

The attack comes just days after two men were arrested in separate punching incidents around the city.
