Man wanted after gas station shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Police Department is looking for a man accused of a shooting at a South Memphis gas station earlier this month.

According to reports, on May 13, officers responded to the Valero gas station at the 1400 block of South Third Street regarding a shooting.

The victim stated they parked their car in the parking lot and went into the store. As they were walking in, two males and three females were walking out.

MPD says when the victim began to walk out of the store to his car, a man started to shoot at him.

That is when the victim ran back into the store until the suspect left.

The victim was unharmed but the store and a vehicle outside the store were hit by gunfire.

Police say the suspect is described as a man wearing a white t-shirt and a black rolled-up ski mask. He also had a black handgun with an extended magazine.
