Man wanted for February Antioch shooting arrested in Robertson County

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A second person has been arrested in connection with a February shooting that left a Mt. Juliet man dead.

Metro police said Patrick G. Cathey, 31, is accused of shooting and killing Steven Yates, 34, on Old Franklin Road in Antioch last month.

Investigators believe Yates was killed during a drug-related robbery that saw him meet with Cathey and Nicole Tishma, 37. Tishma was arrested Feb. 20, in Oak Grove, Kentucky, where she is currently being held as a fugitive.

Cathey was located and taken into custody in the Robertson County community of Coopertown, according to Metro police. He was booked in the Metro jail on a criminal homicide charge.

Tishma’s return to Nashville is pending, police said, but she will also face a criminal homicide charge.
