Man stabbed while chasing alleged robbers in Brooklyn: NYPD

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — An alleged robbery at a business in Brooklyn on May 2 escalated when a 25-year-old man was stabbed in the shoulder, according to the NYPD.

The incident occurred at around 5:05 p.m. at 715 Nostrand Avenue.

Two individuals entered the business and removed merchandise without paying, police said.

The victim chased the two suspects onto Saint John’s Place, where one of them took out a knife and stabbed him, according to the NYPD. The suspects then fled west on Saint John’s Place.

The victim was taken to a local hospital by EMS, police said.

Police say the first suspect was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, and white sneakers. The second suspect was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black jacket, and black jeans. The NYPD released a surveillance image of both suspects.
