Man shot in northwest Canton early Tuesday
CANTON ‒ A 46-year-old man was shot early Tuesday at Brown Avenue and Eighth Street NW.
Canton police reported the victim was treated at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital for a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
He told police he did not know who shot him, but that he was two feet away when the assault occurred.
Witnesses said the suspect ran west toward Monument, Waterworks and Stadium parks. No suspect was found in a search of the area.
Officers were notified about the incident at 3:27 a.m.
