2 teens charged after man shot, killed on University Court
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 30-year-old man was shot and killed just south of downtown Nashville Thursday night.
The shooting happened just before 10 p.m. in the University Court neighborhood.
According to a release, Anthony Lee Buchanan Jr., 30, was found in an alley with multiple gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.

Metro Department Housing Authority footage captured the shooting and the two suspects fleeing to a nearby apartment, according to Metro police. Detectives quickly responded to the apartment where two 14-year-olds, Tyrese Summers and Kimarion Henry, were located.
During an interview with detectives, Summers and Henry admitted to their involvement in the shooting, which reportedly stemmed from Buchanan recently stealing $300 from Summers.
Metro police reported four handguns, as well as a large amount of marijuana and cocaine, were recovered from the apartment.

Summers and Henry were charged in juvenile court with criminal homicide and juvenile handgun possession.
