Man shot in hand while walking in north St. Louis
ST. LOUIS – Police are looking for a suspect involved in a shooting that occurred Saturday afternoon on the 4800 block of Hammett Place in the Kingsway East neighborhood.
A 35-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to his hand. He told officers that he was walking along Hammett Place when he heard gunshots and subsequently felt pain in his hand. He went to a nearby grocery store for help
Emergency services took the victim to the hospital, where he is currently in stable condition. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
